Metalitz was established in the year 2022 in Mumbai, India, and is engaged in the manufacturing of litz wires for high-frequency applications for various industries including aerospace, medical equipment, railways, automobiles, induction heating, renewable energy, and many others.

Metalitz is the brainchild of a team of young entrepreneurs having the combined experience of more than 30 years in the field of manufacturing and sales of cables, earthing conductors, and HF litz wire suitable for oil-filled power transformers, earthing & high-frequency applications.

During our service tenure in the cable industry, we understood the needs, desires, and problems faced by OEM Manufacturers specifically in India, which are the major hurdles in the growth of the Indian market. The problems faced are related to

• Compromised material quality: High Frequency Litz wire is a custom product that requires highly technical know-how & skills to understand the impact of various manufacturing parameters. Due to a lack of knowledge & skilled personnel to understand the requirements, the OEM manufacturers are forced to process the Litz wires from the local market of compromised quality.
• High delivery time: Most of the OEM manufacturers are forced to import the Litz wires from countries like the USA, Germany, and China. The delivery time is very high for material which also contributed to extra documentation and legal formalities.
• High Cost: Since most of the OEM manufacturers preferred to import Litz wire, the cost of freight & duties made their product more expensive.
• Higher order quantity: To compensate for freight cost & delivery time for imported Litz wire, the OEM manufacturers have to procure the Litz wire in bigger batches, which in turn had to shed more money at a time.
• Higher turn-around time: Most of the OEM manufacturers have the process of sampling to approve the batch manufacturing. Since the Litz wire is to be procured from a local supplier with a lack of technical know-how, results in a repetition of the sampling process.
